							| Are you looking for plays in the sense of "theatre" or any ideas you could do, like a song etc? | 4 Jun 2017

							| We usually have a theme for our graduation party and every teacher has to prepare something on this theme related to their subject. So it s more like a theme party. Last year one of our English teachers took a famous song and rewrote the lyrics to make them more simple and match the topic. Another teacher wrote a short play herself on the topic. Another teacher had an exhibition that the parents had a look at in the hallway ...
Before we started the theme parties, we simply took things from what the kids had learned during the school year (taking a song they learned, adding some more gestures and a little choreography, for example). Or we took a story from our books and re-enacted it. That made it easier on the kids since they didn t have to learn anything new in a short amount of time (especially regarding the very young children) ;)
