Looking for activities that are not teacher-centered

I have a really really tight timetable. Besides, I am not feeling good. That �s why I would prefer not being the center of attention. Students are 17 to 19 years old. The course is elementary and we are starting to deal with occupations + present simple + present continuous. Student �s coursebook is Whats � Up 2 Pearson 2006 UNIT 2. Any suggestions?

Hi Carinita,

Maybe you could do some games which will engage the students and keep you in the shadows? I was thinking of e.g. grammar auction for Present Simple/Continuous and Pictionary for jobs. Put them in teams and enjoy their competitive spirit being just the referee.
