							| Which of these sentences is right? If there are more than one, could you tell me if there are any differences in meaning? - "I like that she is my teacher" - "I like her being my teacher" - "I like her to be my teacher" Thanks a lot!  | 3 Dec 2017

							| Hi Albaeva. I like her being my teacher - fine. I like her to be my teacher - no. I would like her to be my teacher is correct. I like that she is my teacher , no. It might be OK grammatically for all I know , but it wouldn t be said. I like the fact that she is my teacher is correct.   | 3 Dec 2017

							| "I like that she is my teacher": This is correct for spoken English but could be better rephrased in written English. - "I like her being my teacher": This is also correct - "I like her to be my teacher": I would like her to be my teacher or I want her to be my teacher.   I hope this helps.   | 3 Dec 2017
