Which adjective, expression or idiom would you use to describe someone who has the ability to persuade someone to buy whatever that person wants? Someone who can even sell a fridge to an eskimo.  The only one I can think about is to be a smooth talker, but don �t know whether that is the correct one. In Spanish we have one expression: tener labia.

Here are a few suggestions:  to sweet talk/ gift of the gab/ as easy as taking sweets off a baby.

 

�Did you see that car salesman?  He �s really got the gift of the gab, he could sweet talk anybody into buying the most expensive car and make it look as easy as taking sweets off a baby �.        New record -  got three idioms in one sentence :)
