Yes, it�s correct!
"This is John and Mary. They�re my cousins." "This is my mother and father. They�re teachers", etc.

Or one could say, "These are my cousins, John and Mary" or, "this is John and Mary, my cousins" |

Technically, "this" is supposed to be for singular nouns only. In common speech, it is used interchangably. So casual, spoken English, you will hear and can say the sentences exactly as you posted them. However, in formal, written English, it is better to say "These are my cousins, John and Mary." The sentence "These are John and Mary" sounds awkward, so I would not use it. |
