							| I would explain the difference this way.   Today, you had a doctor�s appointment.  He told you to visit him again 1) in a day.  2) every other day.   The first ending means you have to visit your doctor once, within a day�s time (most likely, tomorrow). The second - you have to do it regularly, every second day - day1 (today), day3, day5, and so on, skipping every second day. |  21 Oct 2018
