							| Hi All,   This article from the BBC caught my attention and I thought it might interest some of you as well.     http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20190226-how-your-language-reflects-the-senses-you-use    Cheers, Douglas | 27 Feb 2019

							| Thanks Douglas:  I have had a look and I believe Spanish are great at describing smells, but not that good on sounds. I am musician and I realized of that issue many times, when I try to explain something I have heard and people look at you like: What...? I found in other site another interesting article talking about features of the different language uses:  https://www.muyinteresante.es/cultura/arte-cultura/articulo/el-idioma-que-usamos-altera-nuestra-percepcion-del-tiempo-721495707125 Its in Spanish but you could translate it easily with google. I found it interesting, anyway... Aisha ;) | 27 Feb 2019

							| Thanks Aisha!   I especially liked the last couple lines:     Thus, if you use a positive language you will feel more optimistic and you will also produce that sensation in the one who listens to you, but if you constantly complain or express yourself in a negative way you will see life in black. This is also the basis of the advocates of inclusive language, who claim that if non-sexist language were to become generalised, societys attitude would be less discriminatory towards women.

OBTW: This is the first time I tried using DEEPL for Spanish  and it worked wonderfully. Deepl is the best ( fast and accurate) translating program I have ever seen. It has cut my German to English translation times by about 2/3s. I highly recommend it.   Heres an article about it:     Cheers,  Douglas | 1 Mar 2019

							| Douglas: Thanks lots Douglas for reading it, and I agree definitely with that sentense, and I love that you posted it here. And thanks too for the translator that you propose as one of the best you have used, I will use it and let you know! Have a great weekend, Douglas! I will go all out on my moms birthday party with all my family   Cheers Aisha ;)   | 1 Mar 2019
