Can I say "I have a far relationship with my relatives" ? It sounds strange. Normally I�d say "I don�t have a close relationship ..." |

It�s wrong. It sounds weird. You could say: "I have a far more important relationship with my aunt than with my nephew" or similar... To mean "cold" relationship you could also say: I have a strained relationship with my relatives... |

I�d use "distant" rather than far. That describes a relationship in which you don�t have bad feelings about the relatives, but you see them only for major holidays or on Facebook. Strained means that there are bad feelings on one or both sides. If you are no-contact with the relatives, you are estranged. |

I would probably put it as "my relationship with her is okay, not necessarily good, but okay." or "We get along okay." |
