							| Exclamatory sentences have an exclamation point at the end.  Take that off first.  "What a" changes to "Its a" and the command "Be quiet" can be restated with a period, or changed as below.   By the way, the apostrophes I type are changing to strange symbols, so I put commas below instead.
It,s a cold day. Quiet, please. It,s a miracle. Alas, his mother is no more.  OR His mother has passed away. | 11 Sep 2019

							| Very nice choices, zoemorosini! I was wondering how to make the second one a statement. What about It is not quiet as another possibility? | 11 Sep 2019

							| A statement needs to have an explicit subject in English. "Quiet, please" is still imperative. What do you think of "You need to be quiet" as a statement. The imperative intent is still present, but the grammar is affirmative. | 14 Sep 2019
