							| Hi. Are there 2-syllable adjectives ending in y but don�t take the ier in comparative. I found shy/shyer/the shyest

							| For that to happen, there would have to be a vowel before the y, and I can�t think of a 2-syllable adjective that ends in -Vy, so I don�t think there is one.   Bruce  |  10 Oct 2019
