							| deny - simple or continuous form
 |
							| Dear all,    I read somewhere that "deny" does not appear in the progressive form. Is that so? Why then?    Again, any help is greatly appreciated here.   ;o)   | 17 Nov 2019

							| It does. Im not denying, etc, thats fine. Heres an example, in a great song. There you goFlashing fever from your eyes
 Hey baby
 Come over here
 And shut them tight
 Im not denyin
 Were flying above it all
Hold my hand, dont let me fall
 Youve such amazing grace
 Ive never felt this way

							| Lynne is denying that "deny" isnt used in the progressive tenses. I agree with her.   Bruce  | 18 Nov 2019
