Thank you so much, everybody!  To tell the truth, it was a bittersweet birthday this year, given that my mother died the day before last year and this was the first anniversary which fell, of all days, on Mother´s Day. So, I was a little down in the dumps for most of the week. However, yesterday I was doing some of those limericks that I asked you all for help with last year, and I found this one from Les. It really put a smile on my face. There was a young teacher, called Spinney; Who dated a waitress, named Minnie; I am not being rude, But she ate so much food, That she even made Spinney look skinny. Bless him! Once again, thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. It really was very good of you all. X |
