I�ve always had problems with finding the Listening Comprehension worksheets that would be truly helpful in progressing the skill. Do you have any suggestions on on-line listening comprehension exercises that would gradually help students with the development of the passive skill?

Some useful ideas:

 

Use videos rather than just audio tracks - this gives listeners some visual clues as well.

Ask them to listen for gist first, before asking specific questions on the second or third listening.

Ask them to listen without making any notes - this encourages them to focus on what they are hearing rather than what they have just heard. 

Work with transcripts, for example gap-fill, find the error, mark the gaps between words, put the text in order, etc.
