							| I completely agree with Bruce. The easiest way of recognising a passive voice sentence is to have the verb "to be" as auxiliary verb plus the past participle of the main verb - (Example: passive - "John was given an interesting book"). The active voice would be: Someone gave John an interesting book. |  25 Mar 2022
