							| Excitedly. That is how/the manner in which they talked. | 4 Apr 2022

							| Remember that when a verb is made into an adjective, the -ed ending indicates a result (The people were excited about what they were talking about), and the -ing ending generally indicates a cause (The subject of discussion was very exciting).   I am bored (result), because the lecturer is boring (cause). I am tired (result) because this exercise is tiring (cause).   Bruce  | 4 Apr 2022

							| "excitedly" --they were excited (probably what you are trying to say here) "excitingly" --their talk was exciting (causing excitement in someone, such as the observer) | 5 Apr 2022
