I love it! (My dream house).
The only way I can see using it in hte classroom is for practising tenses and description:
"What was the girl on the TV doing?"
"What happened to the RC car?"
"How did he make his toast?"
You could also spark a conversation on the "over-automation" of the world and its effect on the common person.
