Each other and one another express reciprocity . Are they used the same way ? I haven t found anything about it in our fabulous site . Can you help me with links or worksheets? Thanks in advance. | 5 Apr 2009

							| We normally use "each other" when we re talking about two people. eg:Tom and Janet love each other We use"one another" to talk about a group of people(two or more). eg:The group of students ask one another questions. "One another" sounds more formal when used to mean two people. Hope it s clear   | 5 Apr 2009

							| It all depends on the level of your students. To practise the expression"each other",Just give them a while and make them think about what two good friends do to/for each other. You can prompt some verbs. To practice "one another",just ask them why we aren t happy with the world today: People hate,betray,cheat..........one another. What should we do to make it a better place? Students will come up with a lot of interesting ideas. Cheers     | 6 Apr 2009
