							| Basque language is related to some language, but the lack of data has make it impossible to track and discover its origin or what languages it is related to. I �ve heard it is related to Japanese, others claim it is related to Vikings... |  14 Apr 2009

							| I don�t think it is a good idea to bring this topic about the origins of any language spoken in Spain here because I guess that, as many other topics in this forum, it will end in a nationalist versus non-nationalist discussion and I�m completely against any discussion of such type. I know that maybe that�s not what you intend but experience in other forums tells me than each time a word is said in Basque, Galician or Catalan, a discussion follows because nationalists usually start criticising those who are not. |  14 Apr 2009
