Holocaust Remembrance Day,
in memory of the six million Jews who perished during the Nazi
regime from 1933-1945, begins Monday evening here.
It is always a solemn occasion.
�It is our duty as teachers to educate our
students about the evils of hatred, bigotry, racism and
intolerance. And we must show our students that they can
make a difference in this ever-changing world.�

That was a sad and terrible part of the story of human kind. In memory for all who died, let us remember them in our prayers today.

I didn �t hear you speak up when all the Easter and Passover wishes were coming up on the forum. This has nothing to do with politics, it is a statement saying that my country is remembering those lost during the Holocaust. It is no different than those notices mentioning different days either sad or happy, in rememberance or in honour of different events in each of our country�s history.
Where is your respect???? |
