Hello everyone,
this is my first post! yeah!
Do you know how to "delete" the backgrounds in the worksheets? they look great but they are not very printer-friendly!
let me know if you can help!

well, all you have to do is to select them anf click delete.
If, by mistake, you delete something you didn �t want to, go back, make sure you select the background and delete again.
You �ll be OK!

Well, most colored worksheets can be copied in black and white.
But if the background is dark, you can do the following:
To delete the background color in Word 2003, you go to the Drop down
menu under Format and click on background and choose the color White
which is in the lower right hand corner.

Thanks Libertybelle! that was helpful! actually, there were all sorts of tiny grids colored separately so I deleted the color for each grid and it worked!

If you don �t feel secure to fix the background you can simply configure your printer, go to printer > settings > and uncheck "print background". Or you can configure the printer to print only black and white using only black ink.
