							| Airport!
 |
							| Hi!   Im doing the airport topic with my students (11 y.o). Id like to do an activity    about flight timetables. The question is:   - When there is an announcement like this: The flight 18:45 to miami (how is the time said ?) A quarter to seven or eighteen forty-five  (I think its  the second way but Id like to know for sure)   - Have you done the topic before? Any ideas? (activities, web links...)   - Here I leave some interesting links Ive found:       | 3 May 2009

							| My wife is an ex-flight attendant (lucky me)and she said they just say the 12 hour time, not 24 hour time.  So, a flight leaving at 17:30 would be called out as "The flight for Bangkok at 5:30 is now boarding."  I hope this helps.
