							| What is it with all of the Simpsons family sheets and "Princess and the Pea" story readers? I don t mean it as criticism, I m just really curious why there s such an abundance of those, at least since I ve been around relatively recently! Gary | 4 May 2009

							| My humble opinion: Kids love the Simpsons. Using images kids can relate to, could be a way of holding on to their interest and concentration. Just a theory.
The Princess and the Pea is a classic fairy tale. There is a lot of repetition, easy vocabulary and most kids know the story. Also just a theory.

							| It s not just kids who love the Simpsons!!
The best thing aboutt he Simpsons is that they help to overcome CULTURAL differences.  They are one of the few truly universal pop-culture references to which all students can relate.

Plus they re funny as hell, and laughter helps the learning process.
