The Berenstain Bears books have lots of theme-related books, such as
Berenstain Bears Go on Vacation
The Berenstain Bears Go On a Ghost Walk
Berenstain Bears Don �t Pollute (Anymore)
Berenstain Bears Trick or Treat
Berenstain Bears and the Prize Pumpkin
Berenstain Bears � Dollars and Sense
Berenstain Bears Get the Gimmies (this one is about how they go to the store and want everything!)

The books are pretty long, but my kids like them - my 10-year-old still enjoys them, even though they �re below her grade level in reading, but for ESL I think they �d be challenging and interesting :)
