							| TV Shows pt 2
 |
							| My lesson is evolving but wouldn t mind more suggestions....     My lesson now has evolved a little using clips from a variety of TV programs and the title still in rough draft form is "Music in everyday Television Sitcoms."   Still looking for additional advice on shows since my list is limited to a few shows since I don t really watch much TV.  I am also looking for clips where there is a band or singer singing.  I like to have several clips set up even if I don t use all of them because some clips will disappear or get altered.  I also would like more sites to find and use to play movies, TV sitcoms and videos to make a larger library listing of them.  I will try to combine the lists to post later.  What I have set up so far:       or  one other     Adams Family Lurch a teen Idol     And if your Korean since my students are Korean wouldn t mind some listings of TV shows with music.  Looking for a clip of the one band that has the show Full House as well to end the class.     | 3 Jun 2009

							| any sitcom list must have FRIENDS in it - I think it is an essential entry as it is so popular - hooty and the blowfish -
Cheers is also a great american sitcom:

I am so pleased you have the young ones in their - i loved that program!!!

							| Hello again,
Can t remember which shows I recommended the other day...

I definitely agree with Vickiii - Friends is a must, especially because you could use Phoebe s songs and try to explain the point of Smelly Cat to your students!  If you look on youtube and type "Friends Phoebe songs" you can get a few clips.

The second episode of Scrubs, season one, starts with a great musical introduction - the hospital staff are doing everyday tasks to the rhythm.  The picture on this link isn t great, but it gives you an idea.

I don t know if Buffy the Vampire Slayer is popular where you are, but there s a musical episode "Once More, With Feeling"  I tried to find it on youtube, but no luck.  It s in season six about the third episode, I think!

 Good luck with the class,
 T :)
