							| I ve always said sloth and the word for a lazy person slothful with a short o as in hot and cloth. This online dictionary gives both pronunciations, UK and USA. It s a useful site because you can hear the word.   | 15 Jun 2009

							| I have never  heard sloth pronounced with a long "o" .  It is always pronounced to rhyme with moth (Like a butterfly), at least in the US. Also in the Marium-Websters dictionary, it is pronounced with a short "o". | 15 Jun 2009
