							| Both are correct...
keep quiet is used more when you want to tell somebody to continue being quiet or to not say a word about something.

 Example:

Please keep quiet about this...it s a secret.  //  Keep quiet, don t make a sound, the intruder is in the house. //

Whereas be quiet is used to bring peace, or ask somebody to lower their voices.

							| According to  the dictionary http://www.thefreedictionary.com, there s some difference between keep quiet and be quiet. Be quiet means you refuse to talk or stop talking, fall silent
Ex: The children shut up when their father approached.
Keep quiet relates much to sensitive or confidential information that you should not reveal.
It means don t tell anyone about secrets and shut one s mouth.
Ex: "Don t tell him any secrets--he cannot keep his mouth shut!"   Sorry for the" shut up" . It s taken exactly from the dictionary.   Nebal
