A friend of mine told me this technique is called: anagram, well, whether it is or not, it is about the days of the week. I�ve found it very useful with both children and adults.
*The last 2 lines are for the 2 time expressions I put: yesterday and today. Then you can teach the others ;)

-ING ending rules
First you have to make a list of the verbs you have already learnt and practiced with your students. Of course your list must cover verbs ending with -e and -ie.
I think this might be useful for you to explain the rules Ss can follow to find it easier to make gerunds of verbs.
