Money - Oral discussion information and prompts

These are a series of handouts I used for oral lessons with Chinese teachers. We chose a different topic each week and used this format as our basic handout. It contains some related vocabulary, some idioms, specific phrases on the topic and discussion questions at the end. Nicely covers a 1 - 2 hour class. * sorry the idioms dont have meanings or...

            The 5 Senses

This worksheet was inspired by a page from an old Kindergarton activity book I found. Its great for an introductory lesson on the senses to a beginners class.

            Weather Dice Template

A very simple template for weather dice. I have used it to stimulate conversation about the weather, the Seasons, clothing for different weather, likes & dislikes etc. Also good for games - the first person to name the weather wins etc. Simple & adaptable for many different activities.

            Weather Diary

This is a very basic worksheet that I used as a follow up to some lessons about the weather. My students are at a beginners level of ESL, so the exercise is very simple. The students are reinforcing the written section with a drawing of the weather, demonstrating their understanding of that particular weather type.

            My Feelings Diary

This is a worksheet I use with my elementary students as a follow up homework exercise after a lesson/s on feelings & emotions. It demonstrates whether they really understand the feelings we worked on in class and provides an application of them to their lives over the course of a week.
