Bali Reading and Video Lesson
This is a reading and video lesson that I use in my adult class. It can be used in junior high and high school also. I have the class read the lesson first, and then we discuss the topic and answer any questions. Then we watch the video. The listening skill required is much less because they have already read the main points in the video.

Video Lesson: The Boss
This is a short video lesson that teaches idioms and listening practice. First you do a short reading and learn some idioms that are used in the video. After watching the video, there are some questions to be answered. You can do a role play at the end.

The Elevator

Oregon Trail Reading and Video
This is a reading and video lesson on the amazing Oregon Trail. It teaches American history and culture. It shows how immigrants decided to risk everything to find a better life. It is used with the video. I usually have the students read the lesson first and have a discussion about it. Then I show the video.

Unique American Lifestyles: Social Start
This is a reading and video lesson that teaches about American culture. There are also discussion questions included in the text. I have the students read the first part of the lesson, and then watch the video. I do the same with the second. This lesson always elicits some great discussion.
