This is a worksheet I created to go with the "One Sad, Little Boy" book. Ss will put the pictures in the order of the story. Ordinal number words are above the blank boxes. Ss will then write about their favorite parts of the story using specific language structures and vocabulary from the story.

Christmas Vocabulary Match-part 3
Students match the word to the picture. Then they write sentences using those words. There are 3 worksheets that go together to help kids practice a 15-word list. I am using this as part of a Christmas thematic unit for my ESL students who are brand new to the America.

Bicycle Parts
This worksheet was created to review parts of a bicycle and to give Ss the chance to use the new vocabulary in writing. Before assigning the worksheet I would be sure that Ss understand all of the language. With younger students, you might even want to do it together and have the students copy a writing passage.

Muddy Buddies for transition words
A modified Muddy Buddies text to teach transition words. Have fun making the snack (Learning is always better with food- especially chocolate and peanut butter!) and then discussing the order of the steps! The text is slightly easier than the original, because its aimed at a younger group. For really young kids, this should be a read-aloud or s...

_oil Word Family
This is a sentence/story writing page inspired by a word family book I have. The book just didnt have the family I needed. After discussing the words in the word bank and writing some sentences together, students can either copy or create sentences to write on the lines. I just looked at the image, and the lines didnt come out right. You shou...
