�Great Balls of Fire� is a film about a great musician and I decided to use it to teach my elementary students Past Simple. They first watch the video (about 7 minutes from the beginning) and then do a grammar exercise. If you teach Past Simple on the basis of people�s biographies, you will find this worksheet useful.

Weekend Activities
This worksheet consists of two parts and takes about 40 minutes.
First the students match the phrases with the pictures by copying the words under the pics. Then they make two talking lines and interview a couple of students about their weekend.
