Telling the Time - Overview
This 2-page "Telling the time" overview is designed to be printed 2 pages on 1 sheet. Ive tried to include as many different possibilities to say the time as possible. There are no exercises, as there are many fantastic worksheets on that subject here already, and I usually tend to conveniently forget my watch and just keep asking my students. :-...

Office Activities - Battleships Speaking Game
This is an adaption of the battleship game. You can print the two pages on one sheet. The students play in pairs. They have to find out about their partners office activities. This copy is made for present simple, but you can easily adapt it to go with the simple past or the present continuous for arrangements. It doesnt look pretty, but it gets...

It includes directions phrases, some important department names and place names in a building, a prepositions exercise and a pair-work activity to pracitse speaking. Ive tried in vain - using loads of tools recommended here - to include the teac...

Numbers (1-100) pairwork - Following easy instructions
This is an easy pairwork activity to practise numbers from 1 to 100. It gets elementary students to listen and to practise talking. The original idea is taken vom "Tech Talk - Elementary" (OUP), but Ive made up the pictures myself. The worksheet also includes the key and the instructions for the teacher. Hope you have fun with it. :-)

Scotland - Loch Lomond - interpreted by Runrig
This is a song worksheet for two of my students who are going to Scotland in the summer. On the first page there is a pre-listening reading exercise to introduce the story and some of the Scottish words. On the second page there are exercises to go with the Runrig version of the song and a post-listening exercise. Key and teachers infos are inclu...

Hotel Experiences
(03.08.08) I have made this worksheet for an intermediate to advanced adult class to read and talk about travel experiences. It uses two controversial hotel reviews from TripAdvisor which is also useful to make students aware of how to use this page. This can also be used to review hotel vocabulary e.g. hotel facilities. An answer key is provid...

Multimeaning Phrasal Verbs - Reading comprehension
Not "pretty", but useful worksheet on Phrasals - especially with put. I found the article I used for this worksheet ages ago online (source see worksheet), adapted the form and prepared exercises to go with the text. It is for advanced students - demanding but fun. The students have to do some "research" as well and revise other phrasal verbs, too....
