Past Simple and Past Continuous Song
This is Tennesse Walz song, by Patti Page. The song is very slow, so it is aimed at beginners. They can try and guess what the missing verbs are - as a game - and then they listen to the song to fill in the blanks. I included the complete lyrics as well and also the youtube link. Enjoy!

Life changes - Reading comprehension
This is a short story I made up for my students whose level is elementary. Therefore, the exercises are very easy, the reading comprehension task requires short answers. You can easily make questions with full sentence answers or true/false statements. It can be a pre-activity for a grammar lesson - transforming the text from present into past.
