This worksheet is to be used in conjunction with the song. While they listen, they have to do 3 different activities in the different stanzas: 1) Fill in the gaps; 2) Put the verses in the correct order; 3) Write the transcribed words.
Afterwards, they have to complete an activity finding words in the song to match the definitions provided.

The Bucket List
This is an activity that works very well when talking about WISHES and REGRETS. It is used in conjunction with two videos (you can find them on youtube: trailer, and another one when Jack Nicholson finds the list that Morgan Freeman wrote).
It contains BEFORE WATCHING, WHILE WATCHING and AFTER WATCHING activities.
Works best with adult students...

EXTREME - More Than Words
This is one of my favourite worksheets. It contains a fill in the gaps activity to do while listening to the song and then it contains an idea for a debate/discussion about the song lyrics and how "Actions speak louder than words". As a follow-up, it takes a look at IDIOMS in English.
It contains the KEY.

Adjectives & Adverbs
This is based on a grammar book (I think I recall it was Grammar in Use (Advanced), but it is adapted and simplified. It is a guide to differences in meaning between adjectives/adverbs often confused and an exercise to practise.
KEY included on the second sheet.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE - Reading Activity
This is a reading activity (it contains 3 pages: 1&2 excerpts from a website that they have to match to the titles; and 3 answer key).
This is ESPECIALLY good for teachers at EOI teaching Basic 2 since it follows the format of the official exams. The level is actually Pre-intermediate but I cant select it from the drop-down menu.

AMISH PARADISE - Weird Al Yankovic
This is a song by Weird Al Yankovic, its a parody of "Gangstas Paradise" and it takes a look at the Amish way of life from a funny point of view.
The worksheet starts off with a short bio, then some info about the song and then it moves on to an activity while listening to the song and a follow-up (debate).

FUNNY PIECES OF NEWS
You need to print out the sheet and cut it out into pieces. Give one piece of news to each one of your students (you can give one to a pair if you dont have enough). They have to read it and later tell the rest of the class their piece of news in their own words.
The OBJECTIVE is to try to guess which piece of news is the FALSE one. Not so easy...
