Learning New Words Lesson Plan
Some of my students insist on looking up EVERY word they don�t know in their dictionary. I wanted them to focus more on comprehension of the main ideas rather than indivicual words so I created this lesson plan to teach them how to make educated guesses about words they didn�t know.

SPELLING PRACTICE LIST 1
Letter sounds and spelling words. I worked really hard to get my students to learn the sounds of the letters so they could spell and read better. I made a series of spelling tests for them to practice. Here is list one. These words spell exactly how they sound.
