Minimal Pairs for Group - l and r
I teach the correct pronunciation first by having students repeat the words after me two or three times. Then I call out one word of each pair and ss circle what they hear. Classroom Matching Exercise
This simple matching exercise reinforces vocabulary and spelling. Students worked in pairs to match the words with the pictures. After practicing, I timed them and wrote the best time on the board. Students raced a second time to see if they could beat it. I laminated so I could reuse. They can also be used as a memory game.
