This is an interesting activity for pupils. Each pupil has to choose one advert and one newspaper article to analyse. It can be from any kind of newspaper. The questions asked are very simple. This is a simple matching activity for pupils with very little English. Pupils can discuss how they�re feeling. They have to match the words with the right picture. In addition pupils can also practise the verb TO BE.

Evaluation teacher by students
At the end of each term I like to evaluate with my students. What can I improve? What is going well? I ask 4 simple questions to get an idea what I need to improve during the following term. Needless to say, this is a very helpful tool. Students are generally very honest!

It all happened yesterday
This is an activity to practise the simple past(regular verbs). It�s ideally for beginners. Pupils can talk about what they have done the day before, read the extract, answer the true and false questions and finally fill in the gaps. This is an easy and quick actvity for pupils who have just started learning English.
