Short auto of John Lennon.Before this reading I played Imagine with a gap fill also posted here.We talked about the song,explaining vocab,and I had them ustand it was a song of peace which led into the auto.This was a 2hr lesson.The students were engaged throughout.I hope you can use it.

The Titanic
The Titanic..I downloaded some photos also the song "My heart will go on"they listened to that several times.It was explained then I showed some photos from google images of the REAL Titanic.then the reading worksheet.It took 2 hours..The students loved it esp the song which they remembered.Hope you can use it..
