Subject - Object pronouns & Possessive adjectives
Since my students confuse quite easily the three of them, I prepared these charts to make the explanation easier. Its funny but colours worked and they started making the right difference straight away :D

THE LORD OF THE RINGS - video activity + KEY
Ive selected this scene from "The Lord of the Rings" because I think its perfect to practice the pronounciation of the regular verbs in the simple past. The narrators pronounciation is definitely clear, and students usually love the story. One of my students did it perfectly because he knew the dialogue by heart (incredible, isnt it??).

SPEAKING practice for A2 students - One minute topics
Ive used this activity several times with my A2 students, in order to make them start talking more than just one sentence, and to gain confidence when speaking. And it has worked really well. At the beginning they argue the wont be able to speak for more than 30 seconds, but after they forget their nerves, they realise I have to stop them becaus...

FOOD PICTIONARY - Fruit
This is the 1st part of the Food Pictionary Ive prepared for my beginner students. Due to weight limits I cant include the other 3 (vegetables, meat/fish/different courses, drinks). I used real pictures to make them more appealing and theyve worked really well. Hope it helps you too :)

Phonectics practice: odd-one-out & homophones
This is the third activity I share with you about phonetics practice. Students dont usually like doing them, but after correcting, they always realise how important is pronouncing correctly! And from then on they pay much more attention when speaking :) Hope it helps you ;)

THE ARGUMENTATIVE COMPOSITION
Hi there! Since my advanced students always have terrible problems to write properly, here you have something I use with them in order to try to improve their skills. Its a guide to write different types of argumentative essays; you can find the structure, linking devices, useful tips, outlines, and first and last paragraph techniques. Hope you...

THE STORY OF AN ORANGE
Simple worksheet to make students learn and practice how to write properly. The topic is funny: the story of an orange since the very beginning until it comes to your plate. First, they have to put the ideas in order, and then write a coherent and cohesive story using the linkers provided. It worked very well with my students :)

THE FAMILY TREE
Simple but funny activity where students have to think a little bit in order to get conclusions, know whos who, and complete the family tree. I put the students in groups, and they usually get "angry" at the very beginning, but then all the groups try to be the first ones and "win the competition". Hope you like it!!
