 		 Holiday Conversation with Idioms
 Teach or review the idioms used on the worksheet. Then put the students into groups of 3 or 4 and have them use the conversation questions to initiate conversation. Following the discussion time, have the students report on the highlights of their discussions.

 		 Short answer cards for Simple Present - Present Continuous - Past
 Short answer cards are used by students to practice asking questions so they get the given answer on the card. Copy on card stock, cut cards apart and give each pair or group of students the group of cards. Students take turns picking up a card and asking their partner(s) a question that will elicit the given answer.
