100 points: A game to practise linking words

An interview with Christina Aguilera
This is an activity which can be used to revise verb patterns for verbs following like and love. It can also be used to practise reading skills. Students firstly complete sentences with the infinitive or -ing form of the verbs in brackets and then match the interview questions with the answers.

My students have had a lot of trouble distinguishing between -ed and -ing adjectives so I have developed this worksheet to help them. Students complete sentences with the correct form of the adjectives given and then match the sentences with the pictures.

Word tree to practise pronunciation of b and p
Students love this simple activity! They take turns to read out a line of words from the top down, which other students try to follow. The listeners then give the number at the end of the line when the reader finishes. It�s hilarious because students shout out different numbers, and is useful because both listening and speaking skills are tested.
