Advertising and Consumerism
Two years ago I was dealing with the above topic and felt pupils
needed to improve their way of writing. After having previously taught them many linking words I wanted them to see the importance of using them in a text. I adapted a suggestion given in a book by Virgina Evans.

After such a difficult year, I believe this song is the best one to start the second term. After the suggested activities we still can relate the song with New Year�s Resolutions and the different ways of expressing the future. Other ways of saying good
I have thought about doing this as my pupils tend to use "good" and "bad" for everything. Let�s hope they become aware of the effect of repeating good all the time and that they start replacing it by other adjectives. Key for activities B+C included.
