"Y" to "IES" plural rule activity + "ey" exception
Change the "Y" to an "I" and add "ES" is a rule that has some tricky qualities, especially, when words like "turkey" and "monkey" just add "S". Both of these rules are practised on this worksheet.

Two True, One False
This is an excellent game/activity to encourage students to speak, think, listen and respond. Students are divided into groups of 4-6. Each person has to either write down or think of 3 "facts" about themselves, only 2 of which are true. Students then take turns sharing their "3 facts" and the group has to guess which one is "false".
