ADJECTIVE ORDER
I wrrit the word QSAOT on the board and ask if they know what it means. Ask them to look it up in the dic. They feel intrigued because this word does not exist. Then I tell them that the letters represent - quality, size,age, origin and type - the order in which adjectives must come in English. Then they have to do the exercise that follows.

20 RIDDLES
Cut up the riddles and laminate them.One may also enlarge them. Say the riddle to the class and let displayed there for as long as one week or until any student guesses the answer. You may also cut them into squares, pile them face down, and alternate picking up one as the other student tries to guess the answer.
