 The Police song "Message In A Bottle" - S. listen to the song and try to answer questions. They probably have to look up some vocabulary. The discussion about the answers might be quite interesting, depending on the level of the class. On a very elementary level, the S. could explain their answers in their mother tongue.

 		 The Spotted Zebra (or: how the giraffe got its long neck)
 This story is the product of a writing task. The idea is to explain certain things like the neck of the giraffe or the trunk of an elephant in a rather fanciful way. It can be used both as a reading activity and as a starter for a similar writing task. As I�m not a native speaker there might be some mistakes in the text. If so, please tell me.
