Spelling and Vocabulary Test
The first half of this test is spelling. Students must fill in the missing letters, then they must unscramble the letters to form the word indicated by the picture. The second half is vocabulary recognition using matching and a fun drawing exercise. I use the drawing part as extra credit.

Prepositions and classroom objects
Students must fill in the blanks, then they complete a crossword. This is practice, review or a test after vocabulary has been taught.

Adverbs of Frequency Intermediate
Students inductively use adverbs in part I to complete a paragraph with provided words. In part II they must correct the positioning of the adverb (before the verb or after "to be"). In part III they must think creatively to complete the sentences, being sure to use an adverb of frequency and the negative in some sentences.

This worksheet covers a lot of material. The modal "have to", quantifiers, comparative and superlative, too and enough and the present perfect have been included. Try not to have too much fun!

Like, Would Like and Have Got
This worksheet helps students practice using "like" with general action and verbs ending with -ing and "would like" using specific desires followed by the infinitive. Included are gap fill (matching), error correction and creative gap fill using the targeted language.

Present Simple and Present Continuous
Students must select present simple or present continuous in this exercise. They must use logic skills to match sentence halves and creativity to determine an appropriate verb where none is given(several may be possible). Secondly they must complete a letter using given words, changing them to the appropriate tense.

Pre Intermediate vocabulary review
This worksheet covers a lot of areas. It starts with verb and noun collocation regarding household chores, then a little bit of make and do revision followed by spelling of personality adjectives. It also covers simple negative prefixes, adventure sports vocabulary and different usages of the word "get". Very exciting stuff.

Comparative-Superlative Advanced
This practice worksheet can also be used as a test. Students practice using simple comparative structures, but must use logic to determine if the comparison is MORE or LESS. They must also transform sentences akin to the FCE Use of English paper, and generate original vocabulary.
