Seeking - ads
Real ads taken from the internet written by non-English speakers. Ask students to read the ads and comment on any vocab they don�t know. Then get ss to correct the mistakes (spelling, capital letters, grammar, vocab etc), comment on the ads (which one would the ss choose, why, etc)and finally ask ss to write an ad of their own - true or joking.

What did they look like? Good for all levels
8 photos of famous people when they were young. Cut out the photos and have each student in the class pick 1 (or 2, depending on the amount of students). The S describes the photo to the rest of the class and they then have to guess who the person is. I cut off the names before I handed them to my intermediate Ss so the person describing didnt know...
