Reported speech - Somebody told me song
This is the Killers song,Somebody told me. The first page is a gap fill activity. The other pages:you put students in teams, paste a mixed line on the board, play the song line,stop song and students race to write the line in correct order. I used this as a warmer for the lesson followed by the gap fill at the end of the lesson.

Reported speech - Beatles song
This is the Beatles song, Do you want to know a secret. Have the students guess the direct speech and write it on the dotted lines above the reported speech. They then listen to the song and write the actual word. This was a lovely challenge for my advanced students.
