Comparisons (feelings)
I taught a lesson on How are you? Im happy, sad, etc, (feelings) and the next lesson I taught comparatives so I thought I would make a worksheet for comparing feelings. Hope you find it useful. This is a grammar guide to the uses and forms of the past continuous tense in English. I use it with the past continuous worksheet I uploaded earlier. I go through this guide with the class first using plenty of examples to illustrate the form and uses and then I use the worksheet as a comprehension check. It makes a good 40 to 50 minute lesson.

This is an excellent listening gap-fill for saying goodbye. I had the movie the sound of music from which this song is taken ("So long, farewll") but you can easily download it from Youtube. The students really enjoyed the song and also learnt to say goodbye in French and German!
