Speaking activity I adapted to use "authentic material" in my class.
Infographics are found in social networks. So we can use them to make our students talk about topics of general interest. Hope you find it useful :)

Compare your country with...
Board game to practice comparatives and superlatives. Ss have to throw a die and make sentences about their country compared with another one in the board. They can use the adj provided, but more can be used. Ex (mexican ss, pic No. 2)... In Mexico, sushi is more expensive than tacos/ Tacos are more popular than sushi, etc.

The texts are authentic comments from an engineer, a doctor and a business person taken from different web sites.
Students have to read the profiles and describe what they read using modal verbs. Then they have to answer some questions about the videos.
